55 years of combined Paramedic and Law Enforcement in this house…and came home almost safely every day. Sincere gratitude to our dispatchers for their dedication. ❤️

Winter’s starting to lose its grip… but it’s not going quietly.

Went for an afternoon walk and finally saw grass again—first real sign things are changing.
Then turned toward the summer trail…

Yeah. Not even close yet.

That’s how it goes up here.
Spring shows up in pieces.

You can see where you want to go…
you just can’t get there yet.

After years of running lights and sirens… moments like this feel pretty good.

Two feet of snow still on the deck overlooking the pond, a quiet evening, and the clouds rolling across the sky during Wine-30.

No pager.
No radio traffic.
Just the sky moving overhead.

I put together a short timelapse from the patio if you want to take a peaceful minute with me.

Sometimes the best medicine is just sitting still and watching the sky.

If you were standing here with me…
what would be in your glass?

Where Winter Isn’t a Season — It’s a Way of Life.

13°F. Wind across the open ice. Snowmobiles crossing Long Lake like any other day. Life doesn’t stop in Northern Maine — it simply continues.

I captured this drive from St. Agatha to Sinclair on a cold February afternoon.
