I know this is a little late, but I wanted to wish all the incredible, amazing, wonderful mother’s out there a very happy Mother’s Day. You are all doing great, even if it doesn’t always feel like it (especially then)…thank you, thank you, thank you so much from a son of a hard working (most times overworked) caring, funny, no-nonsense mom.

I’m not one for manufactured holidays but I will always be one for telling moms how great they are….so yeah, S/O to all the outstanding humans that choose to be mothers 🙏🏾

Before I get too deep into the new year I wanted to sit in my gratitude for a minute. I didn’t post much last year….too busy being busy, but I did want to shout out all of the amazing opportunities to do some great work that I was afforded. I appreciate everyone I got the chance to meet, reconnect with and to collaborate with. I’m looking forward to another productive year….and I’m promising (to myself) to be more active in the social community.

Not too long ago I was afforded the opportunity of a lifetime. Go to Ghana, document the journey and experiences of studying abroad.

As I take some time to reflect on that journey I will share some of the images here. It was a beautiful, saddening, empowering, joyous, angering and ultimately grounding trip. It was a pilgrimage of sorts, one that has changed me forever (definitely for the better)

and I can’t wait to go back.
