After photographing hundreds of weddings, you'd think these decisions would become instinctive. Not so. Every one of them is still taken seriously and made in real time.
There’s a tremendous amount of trust involved in inviting someone into your wedding day and allowing them to decide when to step in, when to step back, what deserves another five minutes, and what deserves to simply be lived.
I think about the weight of those tiny decisions more toward the end of every wedding season because they're here stacked up in my heart and I’m reminded just how many of them we make.
Collectively, I think they’re one of the truest expressions of who we are as photographers, and also, the most difficult part of the job.

Sonia and Dave's Sangeet was filled to the brim with amazing food, rich tradition, vibrant energy, and SO much love. It was impossible to find a person without a smile on their face. If you've been to a Sangeet, you know they're the best party-- If you've not been to one, and you get the chance, don't miss it!

From first kiss to forever, with a few years and a whole lot of life in between. Lindsay and Joey found their way back to each other brought everyone they love to Lake Tahoe and threw one hell of a party to celebrate. A lakeview ceremony in the trees, tent on the 17th green, an INSANELY beautiful design and an energy level that somehow kept climbing all night. This one was FUN.

Some places are beautiful.
Some celebrations are unforgettable.
And every so often, they become one and the same.
Andrea & Teddy gathered the people they love from across the country for a weekend on the shores of Lake Tahoe, where thoughtful design, perfect weather, and an atmosphere that buzzed from beginning to end made every moment feel electric.
A glimpse into one of the weekend's unforgettable celebrations at Edgewood Tahoe.

Make sure to swipe to slide 9 to see Aishwarya & Luke's very unexpected wedding crasher—a beautiful black bear wandering through the trees just beyond their celebration. One of those moments you simply can't write into the wedding plans.
These two were married on one of the most beautiful summer days Truckee has to offer.

Soft skies. Calm water. Unhurried mornings overlooking the Sea of Cortez.
A setting where every detail felt intentional—from the architecture to the ocean breeze. A place where even the busiest minds find room to exhale.

Love seeing Kennidy and Evan's gorgeous wedding featured today on WedVibes Media.
"The design took its cue from Stanly Ranch itself. Its architecture — clean lines, natural materials, a strong connection to the vineyard landscape around it — set the tone before a single flower was chosen. Working with planner A Savvy Event, Kennidy and Evan wanted indoor and outdoor spaces to feel like one continuous space, so the same modern, neutral thread ran through every room and patio."
