I was deeply honored yesterday to receive nominations and Honorable Mentions in the annual International Black and White Spider Awards for Photography. I entered a photo in the Children of the World category (“Dreaming”) and another in Photojournalism (“A Helping Hand”); a third photo was not chosen to be judged. Being selected from more than 8,100 entries worldwide—an average of 540 per category—was far beyond anything I imagined.

This was my first time entering such a prestigious competition, where nominees are chosen by distinguished judges and winners are selected by a jury of world-class photographers and galleries like Sotheby's New York/London and Toru Fujii Creative in Tokyo. I was truly impressed by the entire experience. Having submitted my entries back in August, the wait for the results felt long, but it made the recognition all the more meaningful.

Many thanks to the Black and White Spider Awards for this honor.

Hello everyone! Happy almost Fall🍂 🍁. Be one of the first to book your Fall Mini Session now; spaces are first come first serve. This year I have had to increase my price for my Mini Sessions due to the rise in the cost of living over the years. I haven’t done so in more than 5 years, and I do hope you understand.

The flyer below has all session information. You may respond to this post or DM me if you are interested in a session. They will be from 4:00pm-6:00pm on October 25th, and 3:00pm-5:00pm on November 2. If needed, I will add sessions depending on the response.
