I'm now into the second week of the semester, and I am jazzed. I have been published three times already, see photos below. My first story should be posted anytime now. I have been really busy, but when I am this tired, and I am, I know good things are happening for me. I can't tell you what a thrill it is to see my work published, and were only in week two. Hello everyone, I hope all is well as we approach fall. I have been head hunted by the ARC newspaper. I will be a photographer for our school newspaper this year. This is an awesome opportunity for me. Life just keeps getting better as time goes on!

It is now official, I am an Art Major. Two years or less to my AA Degree, and then, Sac State??? As I close in on my photography degree this May, I am getting ready for my general education classes. I am over half way to my AA, and what I am learning is amazing. I am posting a painting that was given to me as a house warming gift, and now for the first time I understand it. The composition, the colors, it is an awesome piece of work now that I understand it. My life has changed so much over the last couple of years, and I am grateful for all of the support I have received.

Happy Spring everyone! I wanted to share my first attempts at art. I have never been a person who has drawn in the past ever, and I have never done a painting. So please remember these facts when looking at my work. I will say that having a photographic background has helped with composition and content. Also, before you laugh too much, I did get an A on both drawings and my painting. I can't believe I am doing this well, but school is teaching me stuff, and I think that fact is awesome.
