At 10 years old, Reggie came to the studio so his family could capture him exactly as he is—dapper, dignified, living his best life. And what better time than Valentine’s to celebrate a dog who’s stolen their hearts every day for a decade?

Sometimes the most important portraits are the ones we make while we can.

Meet Pugsley, Barnabus’s pug sibling who came to our Be Mine Valentine’s minis this weekend.

Those sequined heart antennae. That over-the-shoulder look. His face—pure sweetness, just in time for Valentine’s.

It tickles my pug-mama heart every time a pug comes into the studio, and Pugsley delivered everything you could want from a pug portrait: wrinkles, personality, and that unmistakable pug charm. ♥️

Meet Barnabus, a Basset Hound who showed up to our Be Mine Valentine’s minis this weekend ready to steal hearts.

That face. Those ears. The sequined heart antennae that somehow make perfect sense on him.

Barnabus came to the studio with his pug sibling Pugsley (more on him soon), and this patient, soulful boy proved that some dogs just know how to work a prop. Those droopy ears paired with red sequined hearts? Valentine’s perfection. ♥️

Some dogs wear accessories. Barnabus embodies them.

She walked in and I knew exactly which flower she’d wear.

This is Lainey, a Vizsla puppy from today’s Be Mine Valentines minis, and that peachy-coral against her copper coat? Chef’s kiss. 💋

Here’s the thing about props: they’re only as good as your ability to adapt them. The dog before Lainey’s session ate the stem off this flower (because of course), so I hot-glued it to a baby headband, which are soft and stretchy, and wrapped it around Lainey’s neck, and here we are.

Sometimes the best styling happens when you stop overthinking and just trust what works. The flower sits naturally on her chest, complements her gorgeous coloring, and adds just enough Valentine’s sweetness without stealing the show.

Because let’s be honest —Lainey is the show.
