Little one entering August 2026 🌼 maternity shoots are a blessing to capture, the love, the glow, the growth…all of it and I’m here to capture you.

I have been quiet for the past few months on this side of my platform. Being a first year teacher has been, well, challenging to say the least. I do love every piece of it and everyday has been a learning for me 🤍 I have a passion for working with kids in tk/k sped and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

My favorite season is here 🍂

This time every year and since I can remember, I have fallen into a deep creative path. One that has always been a love and hate affair. It’s like seasonal depression meets a renaissance era and I’m once again reminded that I am a creative at heart. I don’t know my life without it. I don’t know who I am without a creative outlet and photography chose me 📸

I’m thankful for that, and although this season was also my late fathers favorite (he loved Thanksgiving and his birthday was in November), I am reminded that he is still here with me through this. Cheering me on as he once did. So, this season is for us dad. I’m going all in 🤍

In honor of breaking out of seasonal depression this year, I’m launching a rebranding of Erica Otero Photo and I can’t wait to see what happens next…
