Frolicking in the streets? Yes, please!

I love going to Acadia and taking pictures! It’s a long drive but it’s totally worth it to me!

Hopefully this year I will have a little more balance on the back and forth though lol

This couple came up in April. Part of loop road was still closed and there was barely anyone around!

Visit Acadia in after April 15 if you want the loop road open and less people! The snow is usually gone and the weather starts to open up.

November gives similar vibes to April but the opposite. November is starting to head into winter and has a cozier dark and moodier vibe while April has a fresh, hope and renewed vibe!

Here is to me continuing to share my work!

The things that make up your gallery.

Your dog running, you kissing your spouse, your bridesmaids, your groomsmen, your getaway car and your dress!

I hope when you get your gallery back you are beaming with joy at getting to remember all the special people and moments!

Second shot for and this wedding confirmed me wanting to rebrand to elopements and backyard weddings!

After all, I both eloped and had a backyard wedding! A mixture of the two that I didn’t do for myself but also love is a micro wedding!

Want the best of both worlds? Take 10-20 people you love to a destination close or far and get married like that!

If I could do it all over again, I would do that!

But everyone is different in their wants and desires- also everything works out how it’s supposed to!

Don’t forget to make sure you can enjoy your wedding day! You are getting married after all!

This perfect fall morning!!

Just so you know, you can do a split day for your elopement! You just pay for an extra hour that you don’t use- aka my hourly rate is $600 per hour so normally my 3 hour package is normally $1,800 but a split day would be $2,400!

You can do the same day or like this couple, they did a sunset ceremony the night before and then woke up for a sunrise session!

Here is what they did…

Sunset Day 1: First look, Ceremony, Family photos, First dance, and Couple photos

Sunrise Day 2: Editorial photos in location 1 then exploring location number 2 (this spot)!

Day 1 was focused on family, getting married and the traditional wedding things.

Day 2 focused on them as a couple, enjoying Acadia and getting some epic photos!

A split day is basically paying for my extra non shooting time + travel fee as I stay the night either before or after!

Reasons to do a split day- you want both sunrise and sunset but not full day coverage! That is $7,000 btw and is my sun up to sun down package (& potentially beyond sun down)!

You also get a break with split day to take a nap, just relax, eat lunch or do activities you don’t care to have photographed!

Why do a full day? You want every moment captured, even the more seemingly mundane moments that really end up making a memory!

If you have questions or are interested, just ask!

A beautiful fall micro wedding! We ran around the backyard of the Airbnb they had for the weekend! In true backyard wedding fashion, the guests changed into their matching pjs and flannels to keep warm inside! I loved every second of this wedding!

My last of the season, bittersweet! Bitter because it was the end of my best year yet and I wouldn’t photograph an elopement for six months! But sweet because what a bookend! A nice way to go out!

I went into true hibernation mode after! This was also the height of my DWTS obsession and my panic to have everyone I know vote for Whitney Leavitt. But before I binged watched stranger things before the biggest let down season.

I love sharing after the fact because I get to relive these moments. Just like you do with your wedding photos. The photos I take mean a lot to me. They show my creativity and growth! They also have a backstory just like they do with you!

Aghhhhhh these sunset golden hour photos I took back in July 2024 have just been waiting to make it to my feed!

This couple was so infectious with their laughter! So easy taking their photos! Easily one of my favorites to date!

Literally everything my brand is- summer, sunset, flower fields! The other half of my brand is coastal, rocky, seas!

I’m just so filled with joy that I get to tell people that I’m a professional photographer. I really do feel so very cool!

The biggest treat and blessing! So many more photos to keep sharing! A lifetime of creating art sounds nice to me!

Very stoked for the trees to come alive from their winter hibernation!

Sun Flares & Fun Times

Back in the fall of 2024 I took these family photos of my beloved clients in California! I have literally seen their family grow from just the two of them to the four of them!

I can’t explain how special it is to photograph a family that many times! 8 times in the past five years!

I offer returning client discounts because I truly love taking your photos! I know photography can be expensive and I want to say thank you!

Also, if you’re wondering- my “mini” sessions are a minimum of 30 minutes but I really recommend an hour because the art takes time! People really start to warm up in the second half and I capture some sweet moments!

If you have any questions ever, just email or DM!

When you know the lighting and backdrop is too good to pass up! You pull off and jump out for pictures!

Back in October of 2024 I got the opportunity to take bridal photos for my lovely bride, she had a chaotic wedding and wanted a redo on couple portraits!

If hair and makeup doesn’t look the way you want, it’s raining on your wedding day, didn’t have as much time for couple photos or you wanted a different location than your wedding venue- bridal photos is the way to go!

I offer either an engagement session or bridal session in all my wedding packages! You can always add on bridal session if you already chose engagement!

This one in particular was special because I missed her wedding as I was at my grandpas funeral. I was so sad I missed it, as it was in Bar Harbor. The second wedding I’ve booked in Bar Harbor that I needed an associate for- first time I had just given birth!

This bridal session in particular made me want to add this as an option for my couples, especially because some of them were not interested in engagement photos!

Getting to see my clients again either before the wedding or after is always a special treat!

The lighting here was so dreamy as we were walking back from family + bridal party photos that I had to snag these photos of them here!

This wedding was so special because it was one of the first big weddings I booked when I got to Maine! It was January of 2023 and I was pregnant with Lydia! The wedding was so far off it was sad when I finally crossed it off my list!

Here is to many more wonderful weddings this summer! I can’t wait to continue to capture all these beautiful moments for my couples!

A beautiful wedding way back in the fall of 2023! Associate shot for

I loved getting to photograph here at this beautiful fall venue! Hoping I get to photograph here again one day! I feel like this is a popular local Maine wedding venue!

This wedding I actually was breastfeeding my daughter and ran out during dinner to feed her.

I feel like I have been on a roll with posting! It has been so fun getting to continually share my work with you all!

Still have lots of weddings I second shot for last year that I need to go through and edit!

May is looking like a slower month than last year before I gear up for the craziness that is June. Excited for this summer!

A post that is long overdue. I have been waiting so long to share these photos. Taken in the fall of 2024.

I found this field up the road from both of us in Appleton and asked if I could take some photos thank you!

I had them frolick around together, just being kids in love. Some of my favorite photos because I’m simply just capturing their joy.

The early stages of a romance cannot be replicated in photos. The infatuation. It is beautiful capturing all loves, the deeper steady love that comes with marriage for example.

But this first growing love is truly priceless. One of the many reasons I am pro: take the photos. The giddiness, the excitement, the newness. It cannot be replicated later. How you both look and feel in this moment is once in a lifetime.
