Insomnia and a head cold meant I was awake at 4 this morning. Decided to look through the sunset images from 08-28 once again. This one stuck me as potentially decent.

A few shots of the sunset tonight (Fri 08/28). Been a week or two since I got anything I feel worthy of being on display...

A few shots of the sunset tonight (Fri 08/28). Been a week or two since I got anything I feel worthy of being on display and I feel these almost make up for the crap weather blocking out last night's lunar eclipse. oh and yes... i did try to get a sunstar on one.

Got out of work early yesterday (08-24) and noticed an unusual sky. Drove to The Height Of Land and got to witness a rather stunning sunset. Unfortunate that as the sun moved "below" the clouds, the display got flat and than just faded off.

Not even close to the excitement as 2024 but it is still better than nothing. The cloud that is evident in this makes me...

Urgent question for those of you that know anything about computers.

Dell Inspiron 7514 2 in 1 laptop...used it last night, closed it to go to bed ( not at my place or I would not have bothered to close it)...opened it to check something and it doesn't power on. The brick on the cord lights up but the computer itself will not turn on.

Tried a hard reset...nothing. any help would be appreciated since I was hoping to shoot some photos of fireworks tonight. This is my lone computer that I use for my photography.

Question to all photographers artists etc out there...Has tis happened to you?

I had a person reach out to me about selling some of my images. I asked which one and the comes back with he wanted to buy 23 of them at $900 for NFT's. I looked into it to see if it was some scam...got mixed responses.

I turned the offer down...something didn't seem legit. Please let me know your thoughts.

For the third time in four nights I attempted to get shot of the Northern Lights and for the third time they crapped out. These 3 images were all taken on 06-08-26 in the Pine Point area. My goal was to use the dark image as a foreground for the Northern Lights with the Aurora filling the sky and reflecting in the water.

The best laid plans...
