Kansas weather is so crazy and sometimes it means reschedules happen more than once. I want to make sure the evening if perfect and the light is ideal for your session and thankful for these families that stick by me through those reschedules! Your session mean more to me than to just settle on a day that isn't ideal.

Today doesn’t feel like summer but it’s HERE!

Editing is in full swing on these dreary days and sometimes it’s much needed to add in one of these slower paced days every now and then.

I’ve spent half the day trying to think of the words for this post but words just are not enough as it’s a little different when it’s your own senior.

Gods timing brought these two seniors together this year and while they’re both celebrating their own graduation, they also get to cheer on two very important little girls, both of their younger sisters who are graduating kindergarten and beginning their own journey.

This year has been such a beautiful reminder of how fast time flies.

🎓 Here is to the sweetest grad session you may ever see and the sweetest one I have ever photographed. And also, here’s to a week of crying and being in denial that we’re already in this era of our lives.

My senior session packages include what’s called a ‘split session’ which is perfect for those seniors that may want a summer/fall session as well as a cap and gown spring session without paying for a separate session. I’ve loved offering these types of sessions and it works out so well for those wanting options and to do a couple different days and seasons! It’s one of my favorite packages and I have done this the past 10 years!

Now… all things aside, let’s take a moment to celebrate Jyll and her accomplishments. She is so driven and focused on her future and that’s one thing I have enjoyed watching her do. She’s been friends with my senior since she was in kindergarten and always been so genuine and true to who she is! There may have been some tears at this session.

Jyll, it’s been a privilege to get to see you grow and do the amazing things you have done. Thanks for being a true friend to Brooke and always remember being true to yourself is what makes you such a standout.

I can’t wait to see what you do in your next adventure! See you in Lincoln!

It’s been a hot minute since I have posted because well… life in the Spring.

I’m so thankful for my amazing families who are ever so patient with me.

🎓This week is going to be mostly about my graduates, because it’s so bittersweet to get to capture some of these amazing seniors who have such big goals.

Naomi, I can’t get over how sweet you are. You truly are so beautiful on the inside and out and I have loved our time together taking photos, as well as watching you grow the past 12 years alongside Brooke.

Congrats on your graduation and HAPPY BIRTHDAY today!
