To say that the final wedding for BRP was absolutely PERFECT would be an understatement!! To make it even more special, I had 4 of my brides there by my side - Jessie Blanton Listoe, Jodi Blanton, Taylor Oxtoby, and Savannah Keller! I had so many emotional moments throughout the day, but I can't think of a more memorable way to close this chapter!! 🥹 I am incredibly blessed and grateful to have so many wonderful people in my life! Getting to love and serve you all over the years has been a privilege and an honor!!

Almost 16 years ago, Aaron and I had some engagement photos taken at this sweet chapel. So, it was extra sweet getting to coming back here for Jodi and Sean's beautiful day! Swipe to see one of our chapel engagement photos!

It's wedding week for this gorgeous couple!! 🍾🥂 Jodi has been a dear friend of mine for many years and I'm so excited to see her walk down the aisle on Saturday!

There's no doubt that Saturday will be bittersweet - as it's the FINAL wedding for BRP. There will be SO many emotions on this special day, and I can't think of a more perfect couple to spend my last wedding with! 😭

Now, can we all just take a moment to SWOON over Jodi and Sean's super romantic engagement session before they tie the knot?!?! 😍

After announcing my retirement from a few months ago, I was blown away by how many of you reached out to show your love and support (and still are). Although I still have a couple of weddings left on the books, it's bittersweet.

That being said, I guess it's time to share my new chapter...

In August, I became a Digital Design instructor. I always knew that I wanted to teach one day, and God's timing was perfect! Now I get to share my knowledge with the next generation - and I've already learned so much along the way. I have the most incredible mentors, and I'm truly blessed to have been given this opportunity.

So, what does that mean for BRP? There's no doubt that photography is in my blood and I'll never be able to give it up completely. I still plan to take on a limited number of portrait & branding sessions during the summer months, but I won't be opening my schedule until the spring semester comes to a close. As I navigate this new schedule of mine, I will be posting updates - and I promise to continue sharing pretty content! 🥰

I know it's been awhile since I've shared any work (I've been taking a little break from social media), but that doesn't mean there hasn't been things beautiful things happening over here. So, as this year comes to a close, I'm going to be highlighting some of my favorites from the last couple of months.

I'm going to kick things off with Mackenzie and Wesley's dreamy mountain wedding. These two should look very familiar to you by now! To say I was emotional during this wedding would be an understatement, and the blog story shares all of the precious details! This is one you have to see!

The white barn at Double J Farm, which is nestled around rolling hills and mountains, was such a beautiful backdrop for this September wedding. The touches of sienna, burgundy, and tans throughout the venue was breathtaking and it paired perfectly with this mountain venue.

Hunter and Josh’s intimate wedding, at The Villa Franca, was so dreamy. The soft pastels and flower gardens made for the most romantic setting!

Wow, this post is much harder to make than I thought it would be...

Over the last 16 years, I have poured my heart and soul into weddings. I have worked incredibly hard to build a business that serves and loves people above all else. Some of my most cherished friendships have been made in this business, and I have worked with the most extraordinary vendors that the industry has to offer.

I have had the honor of being a part of over 350 weddings and have loved my couples with my whole heart. Over the years, I have hugged, laughed with, and cried with so many wonderful brides. I have styled hundreds of flat lays, and have fluffed so many beautiful dresses. There is absolutely nothing I would change about my wedding photography journey.

The wedding industry has taught me about growth, patience, and determination. I am very blessed to say that I have lived out my dream job, but it's time for this chapter to close.

I am in my 17th, and final, year of wedding photography. I have a few more weddings left on the books and I will cherish every single one. I will still be doing some portrait and branding photography, but will be scaling back significantly.

So, what's next for BRP? That will be revealed very soon, and I'm super excited to share about this new chapter.

I will never be able to find the words to thank you all for trusting me with the biggest moments in your lives, for supporting me all these years, and for your continuous love and encouragement. I am eternally grateful for each and every one of you. ❤
