In 2019, I started listening to the Whoa That's Good podcast not because I wanted a relationship with Jesus but because the host, Sadie, was soon to be one of my brides and I wanted to know more about what she did -- I love a unique job! I enjoyed her guests and her message, I began buying the books of her guests (reading... who am I!?), listening to worship music (what is happening!?), and was slowly but consistently being pointed toward a real relationship with God.
At that time I didn't know how to pray so I would just say “use me, God.” and that's really all I had. I figured He could sort out the details but I was willing.
Fast forward to a few months ago, the LO Sister Conference asked if they could use our audio guest book phones to record questions from conference guests to be played for the Q&A hosts to answer on the podcast. I thought it was such a cool idea and was so happy we could make it happen!!
Today this episode aired and I am listening to those questions, recorded on our phones, being played on my favorite podcast!
2019 me wouldn't have believed it!
The sweetness of God’s hand in this stopped me the day I installed the phone and again today. I was reminded of the simple prayer I pray: “use me, God.” And how the very thing God used to draw me closer to Him became a place where He could use me.
There is peace in Him.
