Kindergarten is wrapping up and I would love the opportunity to capture (and keep safe,) all of the images of your littles!

Join me April 18th & 19th for outdoor Kindergarten Graduation Minis at a local playground! Relaxed, playful, and zero pressure.

There’s something inexplicable about the tie between a new baby and their older siblings🥹📸
Photographing the brand new bonds in your family, just like with this session, gives me a front row seat to truly experience pure, unconditional love.

I first worked with this family whenever big brother was an only child at his one year session, in my old studio.
To commemorate the arrival of his new baby brother together now, while also capturing him moving into his role of big brother so effortlessly, had me feeling very nostalgic.

I feel those things because the imagery matters to me. Your babies matter to me, what they are interested in matters to me, and how your family has grown, (in numbers or just in age,) since I’ve seen you last matters to me.
I get to use all of those emotions whenever I do this work for you, and I feel so lucky for that🫶🪄

The Kennedy Family🤍🌿
The first time that we shot on this land together, their back door across the pasture from us, they were a family of four.
They trusted me as a creative, they let me take the reins and we chased a sunset all evening together.
They played hard, laughed a lot, and loved one another so so deeply.

So revisiting this golden goodness of a location for a second time, while also being trusted with their newest arrival was a different type of nostalgia for me as their photographer.
We had been there before, and they still played hard and laughed a lot like before, but the love had changed.
It felt deeper, and raw, and new. It felt changed and beautiful and I got to capture that.

Capturing THAT feeling, and carrying that emotion inside of my soul whenever I see what we have created together afterwards is a sense of pride that I get from my work.
Learning and loving your families means the most, and pausing however that looks for you is my job🤍📸

Prepping for a photography session with first time clients is such an exciting time for me as a creator.
As much as I love my familiar faces, there’s definitely something special about extending the Captures by Canton family to people I haven’t had the opportunity to work with before.

As your photographer, I’m always trying to implement new business practices to make our sessions less hectic and feel more personal!🤍
I’ve found that personalized style guides, clientele questionnaires, and in-depth communication leading up to our sessions help me better understand who I’m working with to create the imagery of our dreams🤍💭

I’m currently shooting everything from family, newborn, and maternity sessions - all the way to bo***ir, engagement, and some elopements!📸✨
