Gahhhh.....I'm always happy for my clients when they message their secrets about a baby on the way. Sometimes, I even cry (when I say I love babies, I truly mean it!) But when I got this message months ago, my heart almost jumped outta my chest. This baby boy is already so loved and anticipated...so many people are excited to meet you little boy.

Look at this little squish of a love bug! I tried so hard to keep him, but they were selfish and said 'no.' Ugh. Maybe next time.

I mean, should I wait to post these at a more "prime sharing" time of day? Yep.

But I just don't really care. I HAVE to show him off. Just look at him. He's the most chill baby, born to the coolest and easy going parents. I LOVED this session!

Twins from a year ago had their one year session tonight! Baby Knox is THRIVING with his fixed up heart and Baby Colson is ornery as ever! I love them.

Ya'll if I'm being honest, the month of May through me for a tizzy. One kid's high school graduation (plus party), one kid with a broken arm + surgery, one kid with stitches and then the loss of my grandpa this week just kinda rounded things out.

But....I had over 30 sessions (which I haven't really had time to share) and I feel blessed to have such amazing clients (now friends) who not only message and check up on me, but also show me a little grace when my 7 day turnaround time turns into 14. Thank you for that.

This week I've had so many newborn bookings and I couldn't be more excited. Ten years ago I dreamed of being solely a newborn/baby photographer and while I would still LOVE that gig, I don't think I could ever give up family photography after meeting so many of you and watching your children grow.

Thank you for being here for me---choosing me as your photographer, liking/commenting on my posts, sharing with friends and family---all of it makes a world of difference for a small business and this past month it's been doubly appreciated!
