Reposting this for those with questions about the changes to the ordering website:
I'd like to discuss some changes to the ordering site. You may have noticed some anti-theft measures have been taken. Trust me this was not a decision made lightly, however after increasingly stronger watermarks we were disheartened to see so much image theft continue via screenshot. Schools do not pay us to photograph students or athletes. We are compensated only by the orders of parents, guardians & other family members. When you screenshot, and not order, you are essentially asking us to work for free. Something we would never ask of anyone else.
Working with your students and athletes is a joy and we work hard to provide you and the school yearbook with photos to capture this important part of growing up. We also do our best to donate our time, money and services to school fundraisers and activities whenever we are asked and often when we are not. We felt like the obtrusive watermarks were punishing the people who order, more than those who steal so we opted for the blur/screenshot protection. Yes, we can see who agrees NOT to screenshot and then tries to do it anyway. It is disheartening whenever I get those notifications. We also understand that economically times can be difficult and would encourage anyone who wants to order but may not be able to afford it, to reach out to us before resorting to screenshots. We will do our best to help.
Note: The blackout feature occurs when screenshots are attempted. If you see a half blurred photo, click the eyeball or the "See Bottom" button to toggle to unblur the bottom half of the photo.
