Quick little update! ❤️
I was supposed to draw the winner for my Family Session Giveaway yesterday, and I also still need to do the drawing for Zion’s free session raffle. Unfortunately, I’ve been sick and just haven’t been up to getting everything done. 🤧

I’m hoping to get both drawings done tomorrow! Thank y’all for being patient with me while I get back on my feet. I haven’t forgotten about you! 🫶🏼📸

This morning, I received a message that absolutely broke my heart.

A local grandmother reached out to me after her family experienced an unimaginable loss. Her daughter recently gave birth to a beautiful baby boy at just 35 weeks. After spending several days in the NICU, they were finally able to bring their sweet boy home.

Just days later, he experienced serious complications and was flown to Driscoll Children’s Hospital.

Tragically, this family had to make a decision no parent or grandparent should ever have to make.

They lost their precious baby boy. 💙

Tomorrow, they will lay him to rest.

His grandmother has been away from work through her daughter’s difficult pregnancy, emergency C-section and NICU stay, and now so she can be there for her daughter as they grieve the loss of her son.

When she reached out and asked if there was anything I could do to help, I knew I wanted to find a way for our community to come together for them.

So we’re holding a benefit waffle with an $825 photography package as the prize.

Can we take a minute to appreciate my little model? She is only 3 years old and was hands down my best mini session client ever! She listened so well, smiled when I asked, and made my job so easy. I think she may have a future in modeling. 🥹
