Star of Bethlehem - Latin Genus is Ornathogalum umbellatum
Beautiful but dangerous. I totally get why Mike took pictures of this! This wildflower just showed up in our backyard in a few places this spring. Not only is it invasive, (which means it will spread rapidly), it is also poisonous to people and pets. They have faded away now, so I can't see them, or tell where they are. I'll have a new battle on my hands next year. Still, it is a beautiful flower that we both enjoyed looking at. It would make a great statement piece on your wall.
