Happy National Rainbow Baby Day! Its easy to think that babies just happen. Today we celebrate the babies that come after the storm of loss. The ones we take a pregnancy test every day for because were worried its going to change. The babies we stress over, panic over, pray over, because we know first hand that not everything goes as planned. Today we celebrate the miracle of birth after the heartbreak of loss.

whats the difference between a w**d and a flower? nothing, really there isn't. if you have tulips growing in the middle of your lawn you'll call it a w**d and dig it up. So here's the deal.....your weaknesses can be yours strengths too. I can sometmes be a people pleaser, over analyze, and be guilt prone. thats the w**d part. but i'm also good at apoligizing, being kind and mindful of others. so before you try to get rid of all your w**ds see what kind of flowers you might be pulling up and try to accept yourself for who you are. :)

this is my baby girl one year ago...it seems like forever ago. since then we've moved twice, switched jobs twice, moved states, been pregnant twice, miscarried once, lost loved ones, bought a house, weaned, potty trained, and learned how to cope during a pandemic. life doesnt always go as planned but life has a crazy way of working out. hopefully ever year wont be quite so eventful, but may it always keep changing.

this is the first time my son stayed in a hotel at the time I thought he was so big. he could sit, crawl, and ate normal food. looking back he was tiny. thats why its good to take pictures and record our history. sometimes we see things differently when we look back on it. you may realize that what you thought was a big deal wasnt. and what you thought were little things may have had the biggest impact on your life.
