Commercial real estate decisions start with clear information.

Whether managing a single property or an entire portfolio, owners and operators are constantly balancing tenant needs, maintenance priorities, capital planning, leasing activity, and stakeholder communication.

Aerial documentation provides a current visual record that helps bring those conversations into focus.

From site layout and parking utilization to surrounding development and overall property presentation, a broader perspective often reveals details that are difficult to recognize from the ground alone.

The objective is not simply to collect images. The objective is to create visibility that supports informed decisions and better communication across the people responsible for the asset.

Some projects are best appreciated when you can look back and see how far they have come.

As we close out our routine project progressions for this construction project, I want to take a moment to say thank you to Talley Riggins for trusting SKY EYES to be part of the journey.

Our role was simple: show up consistently, document the progress clearly, and help preserve a visual record of the work as it moved forward.

Construction takes planning, coordination, skilled trades, leadership, and trust. We are grateful for the opportunity to support that process from above.

Thank you again for allowing SKY EYES to help tell part of this project’s story.

The best drone operations are built before takeoff and reinforced after landing.

At SKY EYES, the work does not stop when the aircraft is back on the ground. Flight records, battery awareness, aircraft readiness, maintenance notes, and organized mission documentation all support safer, more dependable operations.

Tools like Airdata.com help drone operators keep better records and maintain a clearer picture of their fleet and field activity.

That matters because clients are not just hiring a drone.
They are trusting an operator.

Clear records support better accountability.
Better accountability supports stronger confidence.
Stronger confidence supports better decisions.

That is the kind of standard the drone industry should keep building toward.

A roof can tell you a lot when you view it through the right lens.

Thermal documentation helps industrial and facility teams capture surface temperature patterns across roof areas and elevated assets in a way that supports clearer maintenance conversations, stronger visual records, and better next step planning over time. It is a practical way to bring more context into the discussion before a minor concern becomes a larger disruption.

Nothing like watching drone delivery bring in donuts as we kick off FAA Drone Safety Day. A fun reminder that the future of aviation is already here and safety still leads the way.

No donuts were consumed by Alfie.

Hope everyone had an eventful April 1st. We enjoy having a little fun, but we stay serious about the work we provide and the process we follow every time we fly. This week, our focus is Commercial Real Estate and helping owners and operators across the properties they manage.

Commercial real estate leadership does not just need photos. They need clear, current visibility they can use.

SKY EYES helps owners and operators document properties with structured aerial perspectives that support maintenance planning, exterior condition awareness, parking and access visibility, and stronger portfolio conversations over time.

When leadership can see clearly, decisions get easier.

Big news. After careful consideration, SKY EYES is officially rebranding as SPY EYES and expanding into a more covert line of work.

In partnership with Linson Eye Investigation, we are proud to announce a new focus on advanced stakeouts, suspicious rooftop surveillance, dramatic binocular use, and highly strategic parking lot observations.

Turns out all these years of flying, documenting, and keeping an eye on things were just preparing us for our true calling.

Construction progress reports are out. Spy missions are in.

Aerial mapping is out. Classified rooftop recon is in.

FAA compliance is still in, because even secret agents need airspace authorization.

Happy April Fools from SKY EYES and Linson Eye Investigation.

Construction projects move quickly, but the story of a project is built day by day.

This timelapse captures a portion of that progress from above.

Aerial documentation provides a clear record of how a site evolves over time. It allows project teams to communicate progress with owners and stakeholders while maintaining awareness across the job site.

Following a project from early site work through completion creates a valuable perspective that is difficult to capture from the ground.

Timelapse footage like this reminds us that every finished structure begins with steady progress and careful coordination.

When you need Eyes in the Sky, Let’s Fly.
