I had the honor of filming the amazing Rose Parade floats at Floatfest using my drone, capturing the floats from the sky, getting a unique perspective. Floatfest allows the public to check out these incredible floats up close. And while it rained in on Jan 1 during the parade, there was a break on Jan 2 when I filmed, prior to Floatfest being opened to the public! I'll post the final video when the edits are completed.

Pasadena, CA — December 18, 2025 — Tim Vittetoe, owner of Aerial Photography Studios, has been selected to serve as the Official SleighCam Operator, a role that brings together professional aerial cinematography, aviation expertise, and holiday storytelling to capture a unique visual perspective of Santa’s legendary journey.

With more than 30 years of experience in filmmaking and aerial imaging, Vittetoe is a FAA Part 107–certified drone pilot, fully insured, and recognized for his commitment to safety, precision, and regulatory compliance. His selection reflects a high standard of professionalism and trust required to operate SleighCam imagery intended for public, broadcast, and media use.

As Official SleighCam Operator, Vittetoe is responsible for coordinating and capturing cinematic aerial visuals that present Santa’s sleigh from a perspective witnesses describe as “looking up into the night sky.” The footage is designed to support broadcast storytelling, digital media, and community-focused holiday coverage.

In addition to his work as a commercial drone pilot, Vittetoe is also a Certified Flight Instructor who teaches FAA Part 107 preparation courses, helping aspiring and professional drone pilots pass the certification exam on their first attempt. His background combines creative storytelling with aviation instruction and operational discipline.

Excited to post a video that captures the outdoors of the well-known 1773 Boston Tea Party, The re-enactment, through live actors, historical reenactments, and interactive exhibits. Visitors board full-scale replicas of 18th-century ships, like the Beaver and the Eleanor, where they can toss tea crates overboard and explore historic artifacts, including the only known surviving tea chest from the event.

Wonderful to get permission to fly my drone at the Twin Arrows Navajo Casino Resort, usually not allowed by the Navajo Nation. I'm sure raising the awareness that there would be interested drone pilots attending BizCon 2025 helped! Thank you, Damon!

As the owner of Aerial Photography Studios, I had the honor of capturing the heart and spirit of the Hidden Garages Charity Fundraiser at Saleen from the sky. Flying my drone over the event allowed me to witness something truly special—an incredible blend of passion, purpose, and community.

The heart of the event was its charitable mission. Proceeds from the fundraiser went toward community-driven programs, including youth outreach, STEM education, and supporting vocational and technical training programs that align with automotive innovation and craftsmanship.

As the owner of Aerial Photography Studios, I had the honor of capturing the heart and spirit of the Hidden Garages Charity Fundraiser at Saleen from the sky. Flying my drone over the event allowed me to witness something truly special—an incredible blend of passion, purpose, and community.

The range of vehicles was nothing short of jaw-dropping—from iconic classics to cutting-edge performance machines. Seeing automotive legend Dave Kunz from ABC7 connect with attendees was a standout moment, but one of the most unforgettable highlights was the live saxophone performance by Emeline King. Known for being the first African American female transportation designer at Ford, Emeline brought the crowd to life with her powerful, soulful music. It was a perfect tribute to both the creativity and legacy that events like this celebrate.

The day was filled with memorable experiences and community engagement:
