Dahlen family 2026.

My sister Angela and brother in law Nick are no strangers to being in front of my lens- I’ve been so fortunate to get to capture their family photos over the years.

Time is a thief and these nephews of mine aren’t so little anymore. Thankfully they are always up for their aunties crazy adventures to get the perfect shot! This session was no exception! When I saw a massive downed log right next to the river I knew it was a great spot…albeit a little scary to get to ! They handled it like pros and we only had a little of bit of tears (sorry Jaxon!)

Tyson. Class of 2027.

This one is bittersweet for me. Meet my youngest, Tyson. I honestly cannot believe that this time is here and I am posting his senior photo session! I've said it before and I'll say it again- with children the days are long but those years they are so short!

I got my very first DSLR camera when he was just a baby and he quickly went from being the child with the least amount of photos to my muse who helped me learn so much about this field.
He has literally grown up in front of my lens and it shouldn't come as a surprise that he now groans in protest when I take my camera out. Needless to say I was a tad worried about this session.

I shouldn't have worried, Ty did a fantastic job. I am going to attribute a lot of this to me letting him (mostly) decide what he wanted to wear (and if you know Ty at all, he is most comfortable in jeans and t-shirts). We wandered around the farm and found some very cool buildings and equipment, a gravel road, a beautiful sunset and even a few shots with his pick up. In short, it was all about my country kid.

So, without further ado, here are a few of my favorites from our time. I love you Ty.

Tate. Class of 2027.

I’m excited to share Tate’s sneak peek. I met him, his mom and his sister in Vergas on a beautiful summer evening. The sun was setting and giving us lots of great colors and there were limitless places to get some amazing shots.

It’s so hard to believe these kids I’ve watched grow up are now graduating! Fun fact- Tate is one day older than my youngest, his mom and I were in the hospital right next door to each other. I’ve literally gotten to watch this guy grow up in activities, school and sports. I am honored to share just a tiny part of his session with you now and I couldn’t resist adding an oldie (but goodie) of a session I had with him and his two older siblings back in 2010!

Bricker. Class of 2027.

There is something special about being in this business long enough and getting to take photos of kids and families as they grow! The first time I took Brickers photos was when he was a toddler back in 2010- and now I had the honor of taking his senior photos! What a cool moment! We even met at his grandpas farm where we met all those years ago.

Aubrey. Class of 2027.

I am so excited to share Aubrey’s senior session!

I met Aubrey and her mom at her grandparents place in the country and there was no shortage of beautiful settings. She was so photogenic, It was hard to narrow it down to just a few.
