Meet Ashley and Stephen! They're newly engaged + wildly in love. The couple is tying the knot in spring 2026 at Unicoi State Park, so it only felt right to capture their engagement photos surrounded by nature. I was honored to take her latest real estate headshots, and when the rain and humidity tried to derail us, a last-minute pivot to her beautifully staged home turned out to be exactly the right move.

More about this couple… Mikayla grew up in the house right across from mine, and now I get the honor of capturing this exciting new chapter as she & Ben prepare for their March wedding (praise hands for no summer heat 😅).

They will be wed in the church where Ben serves as a student minister… so the ceremony will be full of fun!

These two are adorable together… their joy, laughter, and love came through in every single frame. Counting down the days until their wedding when we get to do this all over again… 219 days!!! but in much cooler temps. 💍

Photo Dump Part I

It’s summer love, edition.
Mikayla & Ben braved a 90-degree July afternoon for their engagement session at historic Vickery Creek, and somehow managed to look effortlessly stunning while doing it. Between the iconic covered bridge, the old brick mill, and that sun-kissed gravel pathway, this spot was a dream backdrop (even if we were melting just a little).

PSA for fellow photographers & families: The serene rock/waterfall access area is now off-limits due to new rules… and there’s a double chain fence along the creek, so plan sessions accordingly!
