Hello everyone!

For those who may be new here, I’m Melissa — the face behind MD Photography.

I was born and raised right here in Roswell, NM, and being able to capture memories for my community means so much to me. There’s something really special about freezing moments in time for families, couples, seniors, children, and all the important milestones life brings.

I’m a mama, grandma, and creative at heart, so I understand just how fast life moves and how important photos become over time. The photos we take today become the memories we hold onto tomorrow. That’s why I pour my heart into every single session. ❤️

Photography for me is more than just pictures. It’s the laughter during your session, the confidence you feel seeing yourself, the tears from proud parents, the joy of celebrating milestones, and the memories your family will look back on years from now. Those moments matter deeply to me.

I love creating a space where people feel comfortable, seen, beautiful, and themselves. Whether you’ve booked me once or supported me from the very beginning, just know I appreciate every single one of you more than words can say.

Congratulations to my sweet niece Marcella, who is officially heading to middle school!

She is such a beautiful, fierce, and resilient person, and I know she is going to do amazing things. Watching her grow has been amazing, and I’m so proud of the young lady she is becoming.
