I’ve had the privilege to capture memories for three sweet couples this past month. It’s been almost a decade since I began serious portrait photography, but now as a mother, crafting these images ignites a passion in my heart more than I’ve ever felt before, and it’s a blessing to be able to create lasting memories for generations to come. 🖤

It's been a good while since I've been active with my work.
I started this page over 5 years ago. Since my first portrait shoot in 2014, I graduated with my education degree, completed my first year of teaching, got married to my wonderful husband, and soon we'll be moving to our first home. That being said, you can only imagine not only busy I've been, but the amount of artist's block I've experienced. Before the coursework got heavy in my last two years of college, I was heavily active with my art, but I'm finally at a point where I can balance my life and enjoy creating whether it's taking pictures, crafting, or painting!
My first summer break as a teacher is soon coming to an end, but I have been thankful for this time to rekindle my artistic side.

This set of pictures is from my first trip to Brazos Bend State Park today -- I used solely the 24-105 f.4L on my 6D and I quickly realized that I need to get my hands on a telephoto to truly take in the nature of this type of photography!

Thanks to all of you who have supported me through the years and have watched me grow 🙂 I like to relate to these lil' lotus flowers growing through the mud.

I have been on hiatus for quite some time due to being a senior at UH myself (go coogs!), but I was able to make some time for a sweet friend of many years! I have known this sweet girl since our first job together, and I also had the blessing of capturing her wedding -- and now I was able to to capture some college graduation memories for her. I began this hobby as a love for making beautiful art with a camera, but over the years, creating these memories has far outweighed my love for the art itself.

Here is some of my recent work that I haven't posted yet. From August to September, I have done a baby shower, engagement session, engagement brunch celebration, and a couple's session.
In the coming weekends, I have an engagement session, maternity session, and another engagement session!!
In November, I will be photographing a beautiful wedding.
I am very blessed to be this busy :)

Although I have been doing this hobby for years, I still learn from each shoot.
For my first baby shower or party-like shoot, I had so much fun determining the right perspectives for the cute decor.
Brittany, a returning customer of mine, always allows me to laugh and get some of the goofy shots that she loves.
Marco and Liana's engagement festivities were especially a learning experience for me because they are family to me - Liana is my boyfriend's sister. I feel that I was able to capture their love in my photographs because I know it so well. When I photographed their engagement brunch, I was not only the photographer, but I was celebrating this moment as well. This made me realize that in my future shoots, I want to be able to capture that love and my personal celebration for the couple as if they were my family, too.
