🐾 Happy National Dog Day to the cutest weirdos, cuddle bugs, chaos gremlins, old souls, gentle hearts, loyal shadows, treat thieves, ball-obsessed maniacs, and all of the gloriously quirky and derpy pups who make our lives better just by existing. 🐾🤍

I’m not gonna lie. We’re pretty damn lucky around here. We get to love on our own ridiculous pack and meet hundreds of amazing pups through our photos every single year. Our wonderful couples and families trust us to photograph their pups throughout every chapter of life, and we never take that privilege lightly. ✨🤘

We get to meet them at every stage. From the goofy clumsy puppies to the majestic seniors. Regardless, they are always so dang good at stealing the spotlight. And we wouldn’t have it any other way! 🤍

Today, we’re celebrating all the pups - the ones curled up at our feet snoozin’, the ones currently begging for our snacks, those prancing happily by our sides on their evening walk, the ones who have crossed the rainbow bridge but live on in our hearts, and every bestest pup in between.

… If you ask us, they deserve a holiday everyyyyy day 🐾✨

Kyle + Josh ( & Puck + Luna ) 🤍🌊🐾

We have known you two for years now, since your wedding back in 2018 up in Lutsen, when it was just the four of us humans and Puck! (Who was an instant fave around here, total rockstar pup, with a big beautiful bully smile) 🐾 It has been such a joy watching your story continue to unfold since then.

[ This particular set is actually from last summer. We took a bit of a pause from social media last year, and pulling these back up made it clear they were overdue for their moment. ✨✨✨ ]

There is something about this session that just felt right, the lake, the two of you so clearly at home out there on the water with your furbabies right by your side. Everything aligned so perfectly.

Watching your little family grow over the years, from just Puck to now having Luna in the mix too as the ultimate little sister/side kick, has genuinely been one of our favorite things to witness.

We are still proud members of the Puck + Luna fan club, and we are always honored when you let us back in to document another chapter. 🤍🤍🤍

The laughter that never stopped, the happy tears that kept finding their way back in, the way you two move through a room and connect with each other and everyone around you so effortlessly. It says everything about who you are as a couple and as people. 🤍

Your personalities were everywhere in this day, in the BEST way. This entire celebration felt completely and totally designed around your story and your love. And we feel so lucky/grateful we got to capture it. 🫶

Today is officially THE day. 🍻

Maria + TJ - it is your wedding day and we are SO excited for you both (ps. hugs and cameras are already ready to go). ✨📸

Reminiscing ~ We had the best time documenting these two during their engagement session at Modist Brewing Co. (shout out to their team for approving our request and being so dang awesome the whole time 🤘)… the epic murals, the beers, the laughs, the almost-kisses/snuggles in front of walls that are honestly just as colorful and fun as their energy. It was SUCH a good time, and we will always cherish this time of getting to hear more about your story and fave breweries / places you’ve been as a couple, it absolutely made us even more excited for everything.

We cannot wait - see you SOON!!!⚡️

April is Limb Difference and Limb Loss Awareness Month. 🧡

I’ll be sharing more in-depth as we go, but for now, a little snapshot and why we are named Studio Twelve:52. 📸

Doctors said these hands would never hold anything.

March 8th, at 12:52 PM. 4 lbs 11 oz. I was born with Amniotic Band Syndrome. Shortly after my breathing/heart stopped, I was brought back.

ABS means fibrous bands wrapped around my hands, feet and left leg while I was developing, limiting or stopping their growth completely. My fingers all woven and stuck together, my left leg visibly shorter with a tight band. The doctors panicked.

They didn’t allow my mom to see or hold me for several hours. In that time, my other parent and his family wanted to put me up for adoption. My aunt (mom’s sister) held me first. Then my Nana.They chose me without hesitation.

When my mom finally got to see me she didn’t hesitate for a second, even after doctors said I’d probably never walk, run, hold objects properly, or function “normally”. She said none of that matters. We’ll find our own way.
And so we did.

I relearned to walk more than once after leg surgeries through Shriners, who did everything at zero cost to my family. I had my first hand surgery at one year old, and that right hand is still my dominant hand today.

At 16, walking flat footed for the first time, I launched my company. Full time by 18 + never looked back.

Music photography brought me to Tyler. Two kids who love music and dogs, turned into a life, a business, and a home of 6 pups together.

19 years with a camera in these hands (16+ professionally). 600+ weddings. 300+ bands. An MMA era. All of it led me straight to you, you reading this.

So why Studio Twelve:52? Because 12:52 is the moment I was born and then was almost gone before my adventure even started. Every time I catch it on the clock it’s an instant little bolt of gratitude. Every. Single. Time.

Gratitude doesn’t begin to cover it. I wouldn’t trade a single thing.

To everyone who cheered me on and trusted me / Studio 12:52 with their most precious moments along the way. With the most grateful heart, thank you. I am so glad this journey has brought us together.
