A North Shore wedding on your own slice of heaven is pretty hard to beat. 🤍

The seemingly endless Lake Superior in the background, the rocky and ridged shoreline, and just the most beautiful views every direction you look. Knowing this wasn’t just another gorgeous venue, but a place that belongs to them, made it even more special.

The little details are such a big part of telling the full story of your wedding day.

The rings, invitations, florals, jewelry, shoes, handwritten notes... all of those pieces were thoughtfully chosen and often hold more meaning than anyone else realizes.

Years from now, it won’t just be the big moments you’ll want to remember. It’ll be all the little things that made the day feel like yours.

That’s why I always make time to photograph the details. They may be small pieces of the day, but they’re a big part of the story.

Your venue is more than just where your wedding happens, it’s part of the story of your day.

I love using the spaces, architecture, landscaping, and little details that made you fall in love with your venue in the first place as backdrops for your photos. Whether it’s a gorgeous building, an open field, a quiet creek, or a tucked-away corner with beautiful light, I’m always looking for ways to incorporate the space around us.

A wedding day is made up of a thousand special moments.

The big ones you’ve been waiting months for like walking down the aisle, saying “I do,” your first dance.

But also, the ones you didn’t plan.

The quick glance across the room.
Your mom fixing one last little detail.
The way your best friends make you laugh when the nerves kick in.
Sneaking away together for five quiet minutes before heading back to the party.

I am addicted to freezing all these precious moments for my couples to relive for years and years after the day is done!
