🎄 Merry Christmas!! 🎄

Some of you may have noticed that I haven't been very active here since the start of the year. As many of you know, I found out I was pregnant in January of this year. The beginning of my pregnancy was pretty rough and I was not able to keep up with shoots, so I decided to take a break until I felt better. It ended up being a much longer break than I intended. I gave birth at the beginning of October to a beautiful baby boy. When I finally got my camera out to take some Christmas photos of him, I realized just how much I have missed taking pictures and creating something magical. So in the new year, I am going to begin accepting sessions again. I will be posting session prices soon, so be on the look out!

I have always enjoyed taking pictures, even if it was just of random things.

But I’ve been thinking about my momma a lot lately. If you know me then you know that my mom passed away back in September.

It wasn’t until that happened that I realized how we never really took pictures in our family and when we did, they weren’t good quality. Like at all. It was so difficult for me to find and choose pictures for her funeral that I felt were worthy of being shown to everyone. It was then that I truly realized how important taking photos and capturing little moments really is. When you no longer have your loved ones here on earth and all you are left with is memories, you will be so glad you spent X amount on that photoshoot or hired a photographer for that one party or that certain event in their life. Because those are the memories that have been captured for you that you can physically look back on forever.

All this to say, Spend The Money!

And if you can’t spend the money on it, just make sure to take as many photos as you can because you never know when those photos will be all that’s left of someone.
