So my buddy and I went out, we weren't going to but I am sure glad we did. I can't believe how long the sunset lasted I have so many images it will take awhile to go through them. Here's one with a pontoon that wanted their tree sunset shot.

So, the other Morning about 2 am I went out to shoot the Perseid Meteor showers plus I thought I'd shoot the Milky way. I didn't see a ton of Meteors but with my camera shutter open while shooting the Milky way I did get a few Images with a couple of Meteors zipping through. If you click on image to enlarge you can see on the right-hand side middle and lower some of the Meteors. This was at N. Higgins Lake State Park.

So my buddy Ron and I went out two nights to catch sunset. The first night we were skunked the second night we got this. There is some smoke from wildfires turning the Sun a cool red globe. Conditions weren't the best with the water being pretty choppy from the wind, but you take what Mother Nature give you.

This is a little different image than I'm used to posting but sometimes I find an architectural design that I can't pass up. This building was built while Lansing was young in the year 1856. This is a shot of an entrance on my route. It's Terrazzo Tile that's withstood many years. It's old-style workmanship that you just don't see much in newer builds.
