A Little Pause, With Gratitude

Hello, wonderful clients and friends!

Sadly, my health has decided to require a little pause, so I’ll be temporarily putting client bookings on hold while I focus on getting back to my regular strength.

I’m so grateful for your patience, kindness, and understanding. I’ll let you know as soon as I’m feeling strong and ready to open my calendar for client shoots again.

Until then, make beautiful, happy memories with the people you love, and have an amazing start to fall!

Happy summer friends! It’s been quiet on this page as I have been on an amazing across the country road trip with a few of my children. We have had some epic adventure days! Lots of laughs. A little stress in some crazy traffic and scary southern storms but all is well! Posting some of my favorite photos from the trip here for you to enjoy. Many I have shared in my stories and many more to come! We are headed to DC today! Also have Williamsburg and Yorktown on the list of stops in the next week ! Should be a lot of fun! Hope all is well! Portrait sessions will be available starting mid August! If you need a family fall session you will want to book them soon!

Titan has been an amazing dog for my daughter Kailani. With her Tourettes syndrome sometimes things get really hard and he has been amazing at recognizing when she needs calming and will come and lay down by her during tic attacks. They have a bond no other child in our family has. It’s beautiful. She left yesterday for another summer adventure and will miss him so much. She wanted a shoot of the two of them to document their friendship. I absolutely love how these portraits turned out.

I’m thankful my kiddos love getting their pictures taken. I have four promised shoots over the next few weeks for my kids who have been asking for a shoot. My 4th, she was so sweet to play outside with me when I wanted to use my new light right when It arrived. It’s going to be an amazing summer shooting outdoors with it!
If you’ve been thinking about booking a shoot with me , don’t hesitate. Let’s get you booked. I have space available but only for end of May, some June and some August. July I’ll be available in a few different cities including Denver and Charlotte NC with a few more possibilities in between.
June would be so fun to shoot at the Salt Flats. Might be a trek but absolutely memorable. I also am looking for someone who wants to shoot at some sand dunes. Reach out for more locations ideas or check it out on my blog on my website.

This was absolutely a joy of a gallery to deliver. It was hard to choose which photos to share here. Their age is such an incredible age and they deserve to be celebrated!

Isn’t she stunning?! I wish you could get to know her. She is even more beautiful on the inside! Truly an amazing woman! This girl has all before age 21 lived on a sail boat, traveled to multiple countries, spent a summer adventuring in Alaska and is wise beyond her years. She carries so much love in her heart and is truly going places. Places she will no doubt make an impact on people’s lives in incredible ways.
My favorite part about using my camera to create, is the people. I don’t just want to photograph you. I want you to feel heard, seen and celebrated.

For her 21st birthday she traveled to Thailand and received a blessing from a monk but also it in the form of a tattoo. Beauty and light show up in this world in many forms and To be able to document this for her was an honor.
