We spent the evening in and out of this barn, and honestly, I could have shot here all night.

The wood, the light coming through the doors, the little details everywhere. It made for the best backdrop for my Elite Girls.

I've been wanting to shoot at a real farm for years, and Jillian's grandma's barn was exactly what I had in mind. My girls had so much fun exploring every corner of it, and it showed in every single photo.

Huge thank you to Jillian's grandma for letting us take over her farm for the evening. We are so grateful.

More from this shoot coming soon, so stay tuned.

What’s just as important as the perfect location and outfit? The relationship with your photographer.

Beautiful photos happen when a senior feels comfortable enough to be themselves.

I’ve known Hailey for years through her family’s photo sessions, but having her on my Elite Team helped us build an even deeper connection. She brought two of her favorite things to her session too, her puppy Duke and her tennis gear, and it made everything feel that much more her.

We laughed through the entire evening. She was completely relaxed, and posing came naturally.

This is exactly why I spend so much time getting to know my seniors before their session through my questionnaire, style consults, and planning calls. It takes the pressure off and gives them the confidence to just be themselves.

Hey, let’s go. Come along with me on Amber’s senior session.

I’m bringing you behind the camera for this whole one, from start to finish. You’ll see exactly how it all comes together, the spots we picked, the light we chased, all the little in between moments too.

Amber was an absolute joy to photograph, and this session was so much fun to shoot.

Fall senior sessions are filling up fast. DM me FALL if you want a session this fun for your senior year.

Meet Cian, class of 2027 at AKP.

I never expected Cian to say this.
“That was actually a lot of fun.”

Those were the first words he said after I put my camera away. Not because I doubted he’d have fun. I was smiling behind my camera the whole evening. But because those words came from a senior guy.

Senior moms, I know you’ve heard “I don’t care” from your senior boys at home. But after photographing so many boys, I’ve learned that’s rarely the whole truth.

When Cian’s mom told me he was working on his pilot’s license, I couldn’t wait. Photographing a plane at a small airport had been on my bucket list for years. We started at St. Mary’s and ended the evening at his plane, creating a session that was completely his.

Cian is such a sweet, fun young man, and so patient with me while I took my time getting every shot just right.
Hearing him say “that was actually a lot of fun” reminded me that even when our senior guys don’t always say it, these moments matter to them too.

One day, these won’t just be senior pictures. They’ll be a reminder of exactly who your son was in this season of life.
Fall senior sessions are already filling up. DM me SENIOR if you want your senior boy to actually enjoy the full experience too.

Meet Sofi, class of 2027.
Some seniors are loud. Others have a quiet confidence that speaks for itself. Sofi is one of those people. Kind, calm, bright, and just as beautiful inside as out.
She loves being by the water, so the beach was the perfect spot for her senior session. She also brought her varsity jacket and goggles. Come back to see how we used those in her photos.
Her sweet puppy came along too, and the shots of the two of them together are the sweetest.
It was one of those perfect summer evenings that made her senior year feel even more special.

I’ve known Jackson since he was a little kid, so getting to take his senior pictures was a pretty special one for me. I’ve had the privilege of watching him grow up over the years into the sweet young man he is today.

We did his session right at home, which made it even more personal. His family recently purchased the property, and it’s a place where I know they’re going to make so many memories together.

We made sure to include some of the things that feel most like Jackson right now. His puppies, his new truck that he’s been decking out, and his love for trap shooting. We took all of those pieces and built his session around HIM.

And like a lot of senior guys, taking pictures probably wasn’t at the top of Jackson’s list of things he was excited to do. 😂 But that’s exactly why customizing the session matters so much. Being at home, including his puppies, his truck, and something he loves to do made the whole experience feel more like HIM. It helped him feel comfortable in front of the camera and actually enjoy the experience while we got so many great pictures.

This one was extra fun for me simply because I’ve known him for so long. It’s pretty crazy seeing the little kid I remember standing in front of my camera as a senior.

Parents of senior boys, what would your son want to include in his senior pictures to make the session actually feel like him?

I first met Lily back in the spring when she and her best friend came to me for BFF pictures, so I was so excited to have her back in front of my camera for her senior session!

Lily brought so much personality into her pictures. Her outfits were fun, bold, and completely her. I loved getting to play with the different looks and locations throughout her session.

She also brought a few things that are an important part of her life, including her puppy Zyia, her Bible, and her car. Those personal details are what make senior pictures feel like YOUR senior pictures and not just another photoshoot.

Lily is such a sweetheart. Fun, personable, and just so easy to spend an evening with. I loved getting to capture this season for her!

And if fall senior pictures are what you’ve been waiting for, now is the time to start planning. September and October are coming up quickly, and senior season is slowly winding down. Reach out now if you want to chat about one of my remaining fall dates.
