**A change we’re making at CNY Photographs ❤️**

We’ve made the decision that, moving forward, **identifiable photos of children will no longer be publicly displayed on our website or used in our public portfolio.**

And honestly? This one has been sitting heavy on my mind.

The internet has changed. AI has changed. The ability to download, scrape, alter, manipulate, and reuse an innocent photograph has changed. Things that weren't even on our radar a few years ago are now very real concerns for parents.

Your child's face doesn't need to be on the public internet for us to prove that we take beautiful photographs.

**Your gallery belongs to you. Your memories belong to you. And your child's privacy matters more to us than having another pretty face on our website.**

This does NOT mean we're stopping family photography. Quite the opposite. We absolutely love documenting your babies, your chaos, your giggles, your missing front teeth, your muddy shoes, and all the little moments you'll want to remember forever.

It simply means we're changing **how we share those photographs publicly.**

Going forward, we may still share:
• Details and close-ups that don't identify your child
• Photos where children's faces aren't visible
• Hands, feet, silhouettes, back-of-head images, etc.
• Adult portraits, with appropriate permission
• Other non-identifying images that showcase our work

And your private gallery? **That's still yours.** ❤️

We know this may mean fewer tiny humans gracing our website, but we're okay with that.

We'd rather be the photographers who say, **“We're going to protect your kid's privacy,”** than the photographers who say, *“Well, everyone else is doing it.”*

So if you've trusted us with your family's memories, thank you. We don't take that trust lightly.

**Pretty pictures are important. Protecting the people in them is more important.**

What's the difference between a local, travel, and destination wedding and how does pricing change?
We LOVE that more of you are considering taking us outside of Central New York, so we've officially made things a little easier.

🖤 Local Weddings — starting at $2,400
Our traditional wedding collections throughout Central New York and much of Upstate New York.

🚗 Travel Weddings — starting at $3,800
For weddings beyond our usual stomping grounds, but still within road-trip territory. Think New England, Pennsylvania, Maine, and other drivable adventures throughout the Northeast.

✈️ Destination Weddings — starting at $7,300
For the pack the bags, we're going somewhere weddings. Across the U.S., Caribbean, and beyond.

The biggest thing to know? You don't have to figure out all the logistics before reaching out to us. Tell us where you're getting married, when it's happening, and what you're dreaming up. We'll help you figure out which option actually fits.
Basically: if you found the venue you love and your first thought was, “but would CNY come here?”
The answer is probably yes. 😂

Though she's still considering “princess” as her future ambition, this year Brooklyn is trading her tiaras for a cap and gown. 👑🎓

And yes… that Brooklyn.

From Toddlers & Tiaras, to her Sweet 16 photos, and now somehow standing in front of our cameras for her SENIOR SESSION?! Excuse me while we process the passage of time because what the actual heck. 😂

Getting to photograph different chapters of someone's story is one of the coolest parts of what we do — but getting to watch this one unfold has been pretty freaking special.

The personality? Still there.
The confidence? Absolutely there.
The princess career path? Apparently still under consideration. 👑

Class of 2027 looks so good on you, Brooklyn. 🖤

I will never make fun of the TikTok algorithm again. 😂
Because somehow, that little app looked at Jenn in Massachusetts and Ryan literally ACROSS THE ATLANTIC in England and said…
Yeah. Those two.
And it was right.
What started with an algorithm turned into 2.5 years of long distance, more than 15 trips back and forth across the Atlantic, countless airport reunions and goodbyes, and eventually one very important trip to historic Sturbridge, Massachusetts.
The one where they finally got to say I do. 🖤
We traveled from Central New York to photograph Jenn + Ryan's wedding at The Barn at Wight Farm, and their story was way too good to fit into one Facebook caption.
