Ever since Cora met Shameh at the ranch last year, she's been begging me to do photos with him. So for her Birthday this year, we finally got to do them! This handsome boy has become one of Cora's best friends and I've never seen her love anything so deeply.

Huge thank you to Ms. Rebecca at Autumn's ReRide Youth Ranch for making Cora's photo dreams come true for her Birthday this year! If you are looking to volunteer, support, or get involved in an incredible local organization, I would highly recommend this place! The difference this place has made in Cora's life in just one short year is incredible! Their mentorship program has been such a blessing to her and my sons after we went through a very hard time in life, and I will forever be so thankful for this organization!

It’s okay to be a girly girl and a tomboy. You don’t have to fit inside one box or the other. Be authentic. Be YOU.

My daughter is a little bit of everything—she loves Betsey Johnson jewelry, Vans, skateboarding, and cute dresses and skirts, and I wanted to capture that beautiful complexity in a photo session.

Here she is doing her favorite thing—tearing it up at the skate park and looking cute while doing it (and yes, she’s got shorts under her skirt so she can skate freely 😉).

She is unapologetically herself, and I love that about her.

Her skateboard is by and we got it at Local Crew - if you're looking for a good skate shop in NWA, this one is our favorite!

I had the most incredible opportunity on Sunday night to capture photos for The Diamond Garrison at the "Weird Al" Yankovic concert held at the Walmart AMP and it was amazing! I used to photograph for the Amp many years ago, and it was so fun being back for this show and doing some photos. Concert photography is a huge love of mine, and I grew up listening to Weird Al. My husband also had the opportunity to perform on stage with Al as one of the Stormtroopers and I'm a pretty proud wife! It was absolutely a night to remember! Thanks to Al for such an incredible show and to The Diamond Garrison for allowing me to archive such a wonderful experience for them!
