The moment they waited 41 weeks for…

When my clients told me they were expecting their surprise gender baby, I about fell out of my chair. My first EVER surprise gender birth story.

Mom was hoping for a girl, her 4th and final babe after having 2 boys and I girl. She pictured that even playing field of girls and boys. Dad was leaning towards team boy so we were FILLED with anticipation as she started to push.

In just a few short minutes baby was here and the doctor lifted baby up for mom and dad to see.

Mom yelled out.. It’s a GIRL!! Tears fell down their faces as they welcomed their 4th baby into their arms. I could feel my eyes tearing up too from the pure joy that filled the room.

10 months they wondered who that growing baby was going to be and I was able to be there to document their story and give them the ability to re-live that experience. I have so much gratitude for my clients who invite me into their space to document moments just like this.

I will be offering FIVE mini spot sessions this year for fall family photos that will be ready in time for the holidays!! These sessions will be booked on separate dates, not back to back. This way it gives you the opportunity to book on a date that works for you!
