Oswald Chambers said that “Ministry is when others are blessed by the oil of what crushed you.”
As a mom of two children with autism, that definitely hits home. What we do day to day is kingdom work y’all, and we pour everything we have into our children. Most people won’t even notice, but rest assured that God sees you and your children notice and love you so much. ❤️

Those that know me, know that I don’t typically offer bluebonnet sessions anymore. This year, the blooms were especially sparse and I had to get creative with my angles and editing, but MAN am I so glad that I had this sweet mama reach out at the last minute when I was shooting at another nearby location and could fit them in. The results are stunning and made my Texas girl heart so happy! ❤️

So AWP families…what do you think? Should I start offering bluebonnet sessions again? Let me know!

I get this question a lot, and I know that parents think that photo sessions require kids to sit and stare at the camera… that’s not how I roll!

I think it’s so important to allow you and your family to interact and have fun and not have any pressure to perform for my camera. That’s when we get the most amazing shots that I guarantee will be your favorites.

This year, I’m being very intentional about not only how an image looks but even more so how it makes you feel. It’s a meaningful return to my origins and the reason I picked up a camera to begin with. It’s all about the storytelling aspect of family photography. I’m excited ❤️
