At the start of 2025, I set a simple goal for myself: “more weddings than last year.”
I shot 30 weddings in 2024, and honestly wasn’t sure what this year would look like.
Well… I’m so proud (and a little emotional) to say I’ve already photographed 25 weddings so far this year! 🥹❤️
To put it in perspective:
From January to August last year, I shot 13 weddings — with a few months that had zero bookings. My season didn’t pick up until fall. 🍂
But this year… it’s different. I have 1 more in June, 2 in July, 6 in August, and then busy season officially begins. 🤍
So I’ve officially updated my goal: 50 weddings in 2025! 😳
I shot my first wedding as a second shooter in 2021. (Thank you to a very sweet friend for trusting and teaching me.) From 2021-2023, I probably photographed 20-25 weddings total. Seeing this kind of growth is surreal, and I’m beyond grateful for every couple who’s trusted me with your memories. 🥹
I truly love what I do — capturing memories on one of the most meaningful days of people’s lives is something I’ll never take for granted. 🤍🥰
