I wasn’t sure about this photo. The client came in with it wrapped in wax paper because it was flaking. This was a copy of a photo on dyesub paper. I carefully scanned it, made it black and white , adjusted the levels, and it started coming back. This took all my tools! It turned out amazing.

This client asked me to do a full restoration. She wanted to frame it, so I needed to add room to the bottom. She asked me to remove the two background players. Then the big change, recover the lost color and bump up the saturation. This turned out stunning.
