Proud of our work with USA9 anchor Wisdom Martin! 📸

🚗 Some legacies you inherit. Some you rebuild from the engine up.

Wisdom Martin has spent 30 years telling the DMV's most important stories from the WUSA 9 anchor desk, but the story on our June 2026 cover is deeply personal. That sunshine yellow 1970 Cutlass 442 belonged to his late father. Wisdom has been restoring it himself, new engine and all.

A published author, Emmy winner, and one of Washington's most trusted voices, he carries everything his parents gave him into every broadcast, every book, and every room he walks into.

✨ She walked in with purpose and left us speechless.

Meet Ashley Rushing, Clinical Director of Evolve: A Behavioral Health Center and the stunning face of our May 2026 cover. Ashley is redefining what mental wellness looks like in the DMV, building a practice rooted in compassion, evidence-based care, and the belief that investing in your mental health is one of the most powerful choices you can make.

This cover was shot inside one of Washington's most iconic addresses, The St. Regis Washington, D.C., as the legendary hotel marks its 100th anniversary. The setting couldn't have been more fitting.
