To my non-Jewish friends who have reached out - thank you so much your support and for letting me know that you stand with me. You have no idea how much…. a few words of support mean to all of us. We need to know you are there.

To my non-Jewish friends - When you go to pray, do you need police to keep you safe?

We do…. synagogues and other Jewish Institutions hire off-duty police officers in uniform with their cruisers because of ongoing threats to our safety. I can’t remember when we didn’t need this protection.

Today we need more police officers and leaders of Jewish organizations have to decide if they will be open tomorrow.

To my non-Jewish friends - are you afraid to wear symbols of your religion?
I was at a meeting this week in Massachusetts- one of my coworkers did not feel comfortable wearing her Jewish Star. She is afraid. Her parents were afraid for her to travel. She told me she will not leave her apartment tomorrow. When she shared this - several others shared the same fears.
