🥰🥰🥰 so very happy for this sweet family—Carter’s newborn session 💕

I went to high school with these two, and Michaela I actually even went to parochial school with! There’s honestly nothing better than seeing such great people so happy and so blessed. Loved getting to see you guys, Dylan and Michaela!

This is just a tiny preview of some of the sweetest photos. I always tend to overshoot newborn sessions (something I’m working on-like seriously), but I just genuinely want to document as much as possible. I love knowing you’ll be able to look back someday and remember exactly how everything felt in this moment.

To love— truly love— is to step into the unknown of another heart and say, I am here. I see you. I will not turn away. It is easy to love when it is light, when it is laughter, when it asks nothing of us. But real love? It takes work. It asks for patience when you don’t understand, kindness when you feel misunderstood, softness when tension is high. Love is choosing to stay present even when someone’s pain makes them push you away. It is speaking gently when you are tempted to raise your voice. It is holding space for someone’s healing without rushing them to be whole. Love is not perfect. It is not always easy. But it is always worth it. Because at the end of the day, we are all just souls longing to be seen, to be known, to be held in the light of someone’s unwavering kindness. So love bravely. Love deeply.
