Many people are agoraphobic when it comes to traveling internationally. They never seem to want to venture outside of their hometown.

Much of this is because they fear what is on the news about world affairs. I have been traveling since I was 18, internationally, either on Uncle Sam's dime on my own.

I have never let world events affect my travel adventures. Life is not lived in just your hometown. You cannot expand your horizons and experience new cultures by sitting within your own city limits. Get out there and explore the world.

Life is certainly richer outside of those city limits.
