Little life update! We made it to Florida. We’re here. We’re hot. We’re finding our new normal. I can’t even wrap my mind around how I’m supposed to shoot a session in this heat. Sunrise sessions are definitely a thing here. Not sure I’m ready to wake up for sunrise sessions though. I might be doing a few model calls so I can figure out shooting here, get comfortable, learn my preferences etc. What a wild ride!! In other news I’m excited to be living closer to my bestie .castillo now! I’ll be flying up to NC to shoot a wedding with her this year and that’s exciting!

I was feeling a tiny wave of nostalgia photographing this sweet family in San Clemente knowing that my own family’s days left here in SoCal are winding down. Carli and I met in Jr. High and are now both mothers! Her son is just about the same age as we were when we first met. Where did the time go??! WHO ARE WE?
