Hey all our fellow peeps, we thought we'd finally update you on our recent going-ons! We know it's been quiet on our page recently, and here's why!
When the economy began tanking back over the summer, we decided that we would head back to Bonita Springs, FL, and just stay put for a while. It just had gotten too expensive between gas prices and campground rental. Well, I decided if we were going to be stationary, I might as well get a job and build up our bank account for when we get decent leadership back in our government. I threw out my resume on Indeed.com for a couple of Christian-based schools late on a Wednesday; and by Thursday morning I had two schools pursuing me. I ended up having a virtual interview at 4pm on Thursday and was hired on the spot. I'm currently teaching 5th grade at Naples Classical Academy! I'm loving the kids and their energy, but I'm still settling in on planning all subjects.
Now with that shared... we're in Bonita Springs prepping for the upcoming hurricane. Our unit is currently at the shop for some warranty repair, so we are hunkering down in a fellow Kentuckian's RV in our community. We've made all our necessary preparations and plan on riding out the storm at Bonita Springs. If there's a significant change in the path and force of the projected course of the hurricane, we are prepared to bug out to Everett's brother's house on the east coast of Florida.
Pray that the storm weakens and damage is limited!
