When everyone around you in the national park are excited about finally seeing an elk close up, but you are more just evaluating the perfect shot placement if it were to take one more step.

Every sunrise in elk country is a gift, every encounter is earned, and every memory lasts a lifetime. Whether this season ends with a full freezer or just another lesson from the mountains, it’s time well spent.
