Note to self, charge your camera battery the day before race night....

Yeah, my camera battery died Friday just before the green flag for the hobby stocks’ second hit lap session, but it’ll be fully charged this weekend. It’s good to be back taking pictures again!

Hey guys, after a year long hiatus, WE’RE FINALLY GONNA BE TAKING PICTURES AGAIN THIS YEAR! Well try to, so thank you guys for sticking in there and I’ll be at the test and tune at the rapid speedway today so come on out and have fun!

DNRP would like to send their condolences to the Kooima family on the loss of Dan. Dan was one heck of a great guy and was a big racing fan. He will be dearly missed. Godspeed Dan.

Rock Valley, IA: Daniel J. Kooima, 58, of Rock Valley, Iowa, died Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at Hegg Health Center in Rock Valley. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 8, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Rock Valley with Father Douglas Klein celebrating the mass. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Visitation, with the family present, will be held Friday, February 7, from 5:30-7:30 PM at Porter Funeral Home of Rock Valley. Following the visitation, a prayer service will be held at 7:30 PM at the funeral home.
