We visited the Druze city of Asfiya, Kibbutz Misgav Am, the Galil Mountain Winery, Nachal Zavitan, the Olea Essence olive factory, Katzrin, and the בוטיק השוקולד דה קרינה - De Karina Chocolate Boutique in Ein Zivan.

Tal and I organized a fun day at the absorption center in Kiryat G*t for the children there. We didn't know how many kids would show up or how old they would be, so we planned activities for a large age range. Together, Garin Tzabar Ein Tzurim painted nails, colored, played soccer, and got to know the kids who also left their homes to come to Israel.

Inspired by The Dogist, I visited the Broome County Animal Shelter to photograph the dogs and cats there. Pictures are so important for shelter websites because many people look here before visiting the shelter to see the animals. A good portrait shows the animal's personality, and gives the animal a better chance of being adopted.

I'm also including pictures that I've taken of animals outside the shelter, at home, and at school.
