Patrick has his last day of high school today. We had some amazing adventures taking pictures this past year. I’m so proud of all he has done and the man he has become. I’m so excited for his next adventures in Duluth next year.

Cutest little in today. I love having deja vu with a baby, the lips, the facial expressions, all seem familiar. He looks so much like his big sisters and that familiar face is back after I’ve photographed each of them. ❤️

Big things are happening at Bliss Photography. I've been working for months to announce that I'll be moving!

Where will you find me?

You don't need to look any further then my current space. Just spin around and you'll see my new space! That's right, I'm just moving across the street from 1604 to 1605 at the Miracle Mile Shopping Center. While my space will be smaller, what I can offer will be even bigger! I'll have a larger natural light shooting space, a larger bathroom, and a comfy space to view your images.

I will be cleaning out years of accumulated things from my current space and construction is already underway for the new space. New flooring, paint, bathroom fixtures etc.

If this month for me wasn't crazy enough with sports, graduation etc, I decided to add this on too. The exciting thing for you is that I'll be offering some great specials on photos in the next couple of months.

So let's kick it off so you can start saving!

🎓High school Senior session May-June only: $600 off the Eternal Bliss session with all the edited digital images ($900 due up front) $200 off the other senior sessions

Faith doesn’t remember the Hospital. She doesn’t remember when her brother was on life support and fighting for his life with Drs not offering much hope. All she knows is this is her family. Those people on the wall are her people. Read more.

“When she was just an infant she would lay in our bed and be transfixed by the pictures of us in the wall. She would babble and smile and gaze at the wall and it took us a bit to realize she was oogling over her familiar faces in photos in the wall. Every single time I look at that picture, I am brought right back to that moment and remember that it was literally a day or two after Nathan got out of the hospital after he was diagnosed and everyone was asking what can we do? What can we do and I said to you, pictures. Before he changes, while he still looks like my Nathan, while his hair is still on his head and his face looks like his face, pictures. And I am so forever glad that we took them because even though Photoshop removed this adhesive patch from his face where his NG tube is, his hair was still his original hair, and his face wasn’t swollen from steroids, and that is the only picture I have of him between then and age 6, where he actually looks like my Nathan.

His body is especially his face and hair changed forever after that and I will never know what he should have looked like between ages four and six without cancer with the exception of that photo.“

I have many reasons for being a photographer, but this ranks pretty high. ❤️❤️
