So happy to have gotten the chance to see him start this year!

Veteran musher Dallas Seavey of Talkeetna, Alaska, crossed the finish line of the 52nd running of the Iditarod in Nome at 5:16 p.m. claiming his sixth Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race® championship. With this win, Seavey has now become the most celebrated musher in the 52 years of the race.

Had an absolute blast watching sweep for the first time ever in Mankato. Felt like a preview of the championship maybe?

Went on an adventure today down to Des Moines to catch an Iowa Wild game. Got a seat on the glass and captured some great phone pics.

What an amazing concert tonight. Been many years since I saw Styx and they just happened to come play in Rochester. Had great seats and maybe my hearing will come back tomorrow.

It was a hard game to watch. Tech lost 4-0 at the Mac. Crowd was great and it was fun to be back up shooting hockey where I learned how to do it.

That was some of the most intense hockey I’ve ever experienced. Even though Tech didn’t get the win, I’m expecting these guys to do well in the playoffs and see a rematch of this intensity.

Had a great night covering Tech hockey again after all these years. 2-0 win over Mankato in Mankato. Can’t wait to go back tomorrow night! Hoping for a rematch with the ref that got in the way of my goal shot.

Throwback to that day that I'll never forget. March 2017 - WCHA Championship. Double OT. I saw it in Shane Hanna's eyes as the puck found him with a breakaway opportunity. I told the guy next to me in the stands that this was it. I got my camera ready against the glass and boom - one of the most incredible shots of my life. So much emotion in this shot. Every time I walk by the giant print of it in my house I still get goosebumps from the memory of the smell of the ice, the electricity in our home rink, and that moment in WCHA history.

I had a blast shooting the Rochester Grizzlies this weekend. It was great to get back behind the camera and get to do something that I love so much.
