Short highlights from today on both games as the Eagles win against Pine Island 6-3, the against Lake City 10-3. They face Cotter in the Section Finals on Tuesday June 2
kottschade pitching the first game going 6 IP, 6k and a 2-Run Homer in the second game.
pitched the second game going 6.2 innings with 8 Ks
ICE COLD as he throw out the runner at homecarroll8 stays hot with a 2-run homer and 4 hits on both games.
getting 2 solid hits in the day. 3 not only closing out one but both games today on the mound.

Another all round team effort by the Eagles. Chase Carroll ( .carroll8 ) came up with 2 Clutch hits with a 2-RBI single and base-clearing double. Easton Gasner ( ) throwing out the runner at home. Teddy Torborg ( ) working defensive game and Michael Seger ( .3 ) goes the distance on the mound.
wins 7-1.
Next game will be at Dale Massey Field over by Mayo HS this Saturday 10am

What a team effort by the Eagles today against Red Wing, 3-1. Clutch hitting Teddy ( ), Nolan Rolih ( ) throws out runner at the plate from Center, Brayden ( .kottschade ) goes 6 IP, 10 Ks, 1 ER, and Seger ( .3 ) closing out the game with grounder to Magle ( )
Lourdes will face Lake City in the next round on Monday.

Lourdes Softball season with a loss to Dover-Eyota in elimination bracket of sectionals. A young team as they are, they went 12-11 record on the season, 1-2 in sectional play. Played good ball, putting up Ks, played defense well and hitting the ball with good sticks.
It was fun seeing these young girls good ball and looking for forward to see them in future.

Lourdes face Dover-Eyota in the Elimination Bracket of the Sectional Tournament at the Rochester Softball Complex 4pm. And with a win, they play again at 6pm

Down 1-0 in the bottom of the 7th. Lourdes rally as Brayden Kottschade ( .kottschade ) gets the ball out to right field for a game tying Sac-fly. Then Easton Gasner ( ) gets the WALK-OFF SINGLE.
Lourdes wins 2-1 and advances to the next round of sectionals.
