Since I have been quiet on here for so, so long, that I thought it was time for a little get to know me post. Hi, it’s me. I’m Jillian. I’m a woman of faith, wife to the most supportive husband ever, and mom of two littles. Most of my day is filled with momma things. We are homebodies but do our best to regularly go to the library (an under used resource in my opinion) and see friends. It’s winter now but we are garden enthusiasts and its seed starting time so if you were to drive past my house you’d think I had a different organization happening by the looks of my purple glowing grow lights beaming for our lower level windows ;p I have a dog named Lazslo and 8 baby backyard chicks. I am a sourdough enthusiast and I cook… a lot. From scratch cooking is a passion of mine for the fun of it but also as a health priority. Yup, we are that annoying ingredient household which is great until it's 11pm and you just need a snack (lol.) Oh, and I run a business, ha ha. I am a lover of love which pushed me to the wedding industry as a photographer. I am 11 years in and am still inspired by it daily.

Summer is winding down and fall sessions are booking up. Where did the year go? I only have a couple spots left for fall sessions but thrilled to know that this winter the party won’t stop because I’ll have the studio to offer! And winter minis are happening so be on the lookout for dates :)

These. Two. ✨

When you book a photographer you are not just booking someone to show up on the day of. You’re booking a friend. Someone you are handing a ton of trust over to. It’s spending hours before hand casting vision and so much more.

dreamt of some fun, moody, quirky, cocktail date like photos on her wedding day. Together in the months leading up to this big day, we searched and reached out to 12+ businesses we loved to get permission book the perfect spot. And it was worth every minute!

Even though we were hoping our family would grow soon, I was still a nervous wreck about calling my brides when I was indeed pregnant. Even though I always have a back up plan, I knew they had booked and trusted me. But that’s just it! They trusted me! So when I called they celebrated and knew whoever would be filling my day of shoes would serve them so well! And .photography did just that 🥰 still sad I wasn’t there on day of but geeking out as I edit the final product and am forever thankful for the extra time I got with my precious family. Forever thankful for this industry
