On July 3rd one of my besties eloped to Whitewater State Park and I had the absolute honor to photograph it. My eyes were watery the entire time and that wasn't from the rain! Allysha deserves nothing but the best and she's found it!😭🥰

The entire time from the moment we got up the bluff until we left there was a little blue indigo bunting on the very top of the tree watching. It sang its song and never left. It was magical. I was thinking the entire time there has got to be meaning to this. This is a sign of something beautiful! Then shortly into the vows the storm was coming up closer and closer. The turkey vultures came out from the trees and were flying around. So many of them. It was such a cool experience to see these birds and the tiny little pretty blue bird all gather to hear these special vows.

Not long after the rain started. We managed to get some really cute photos before though and they even poured themselves a cup of coffee to celebrate. Allysha and Logan- I'm so happy for you both and so incredibly honored to have been a part of your special day. 💙 Allysha Stocks

Sometimes birding leads you to find other cute little friends. 🐦 ☀️ 🌲
I'm hoping to continue to enjoy birding more and more. It is one of my favorite things to do these days. I love to disconnect and just listen to them. Even if I can't capture a photo I love just trying to see what kinds they are, listen to them and then try to recognize them later. I totally get why my grandparents always have the feeders, binoculars and bird books out lol 🤣
